the pen holder in the flap has started to pull away from the flap. The cover is bubbling at the folds, the edging is pretty much gone and the layers are starting to separate. ![]() I've only had it for a few months and it's started to literally fall apart. That's about all I can say in favor of this case. The "leather is pretty grippy and I usually don't have any problems holding on to my phone. Second thing you'll notice is how nice the faux leather feels on the outside and the soft inner liner is nice also. First thing you'll notice, you won't be able to use the subpar camera to take pictures of anything other than yourself anymore since the Duo won't fold over on itself anymore. I wanted to like the Theorem folio case, I really did. I have loved my otterbox cases for my Samsung, LG, and iphones so I gave it a shot. I didn't want one of those cheesy vinyl skins that everyone seems to be selling nowadays so I went with Otterbox. Microsoft surface duo 2 otterbox crack#I needed something to protect the outer casing since Microsoft came up with the genius idea to make part of the charging port the outer glass which started to crack almost immediately after starting to use the phone. There aren't many cases out there for the Surface Duo I'm sure because of it's unique folding design. It honestly would have been better for them to not bother trying if this was the result of their effort. I always like Otterbox cases, but this one feels like they designed purely based on specs and never actually tested it on a Surface Duo before it was too late. If I hadn't thrown away the box already I would return this, but at least I bought it on sale so its not too much of a loss. When I slid my Surface pen in there the flap can't close and from some videos I've seen trying put the Slim pen in there is even worse. The case adds awkward bulk to a phone that is already a little awkward. This makes it very awkward to open and prevent the phone folding back to back in order to use the screen with the ear piece and mic to take a call. If you want to keep the bumper on you have to flip the case so that the adhesive strip sticks to the left screen instead of the right as it was intended. If you're not aware, the bumper covers 1 inch of the rear of the right screen, this means to attach it to that screen you would have to stick it to only that 1 inch space of silicone or have the phone stick out of the case by 1 inch. While you can technically attach the case with the bumper on, you can't do it in a way that is practical or useful. Unfortunately, their claim is not accurate. I liked that Otterbox claimed it was compatible with the Bumper as I didn't want to leave the edges unprotected. I got this case as its, unfortunately, the only case that looks to offer much protection. I got a Surface Duo 1 recently as I wanted to try the form factor out without springing for the 2.
